Sea moss Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 20g dried sea moss

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • 4 cups mixed salad greens (such as spinach, arugula, and kale)

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, (halved)

  • 1 cup cucumber, (sliced)

  • 1/4 cup red onion, (thinly sliced)

  • 1 Avocado, (diced)

  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice, for dressing

  • Olive oil for dressing

  • Sea Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Instructions:

1. Rinse the dried sea moss thoroughly to remove debris and excess salt.

2. Soak the sea moss in 2 cups of filtered water for roughly 15-20 minutes until it softens and expands.

3. Drain the soaked sea moss and rinse it again.

4. Roughly chop the sea moss into smaller pieces.

5. In a large bowl, Combine the mixed salad greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, avocado, and chopped sea moss.

6. Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the salad. (Or why not try our sea moss citrus salad dressing for an additional burst of flavour).

7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

8. Toss the salad gently until all ingredients are well combined and evenly coated with the dressing.

9. Serve the sea moss salad immediately as a nutritious, refreshing side dish or light meal.


Note: Feel free to customise by adding additional ingredients such as bell peppers, olives, or fresh herbs and adjusting the dressing according to your taste preferences.
